Menu 2034 is Synthesis’ flagship Futures experience. In our third edition, we explore the impact of climate change on our relationship with eating and drinking.
By 2034 our food systems will be under strain like never before. With a billion more people to feed there will be more demand for meat, eggs & dairy, more consumption of ultra processed food and more food waste. This will put pressure on our planet, increasing greenhouse gasses resulting in rising temperatures.
Synthesis Menu 2034 will explore reactive and proactive strategies to future food. We will showcase the consequences of ‘business as usual’ alongside the impact from an alternative future in which we lay pathways for a healthy and sustainable diet for all.
